LONDON 2 EASTBOURNE CYCLE RIDE

This summer, take on Blackstone’s national cycling challenge covering over 100 kilometres (60 Miles) in a single day travelling from London to Eastbourne.
The challenge bring riders together from across the UK for a rewarding journey from London to Eastbourne. This ride is a chance to step outside your comfort zone, enjoy the open road, improve your fitness, and help build something meaningful for a community in need.
Organised by Blackstone in partnership with Muslim Sports Network, this is an experience that will take you from training to the finish line with a clear goal and that’s to raise funds for the Masai Masjid, a new house of worship for a growing community of reverts in East Africa.
Blackstone and Muslim Sports Network have come together to deliver a meaningful and exciting cycling experience. From training to the final ride, every step is focused on raising funds and awarness for the Masai Masjid, a dedicated place of worship for a growing community of reverts in East Africa.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY
The route begins in London and takes riders through scenic countryside, coastal lanes, and quiet towns before reaching the iconic cliffs of Eastbourne. It’s a challenging but achievable ride, and we’re with you every step of the way.
All riders will be supported throughout the event by an experienced team of volunteers and support crew. You will have the following arrangements and services.
- Dedicated support vehicles – In case of emergencies or fatigue
- Break stops – snacks and hydration
- A hot meal at the finish line
- Return transport back to London
- A custom medal to mark your achievement
This is a fully supported event which means if you’re riding solo or signing up with friends, you’ll never be left behind.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
We want every rider to feel confident on the day, regardless of experience level. That’s why we’ll be providing.
- Structured training plans

You don’t need to be an elite rider to take part, just committed to putting in the effort and excited to try something new. Many of our past riders started out as beginners and ended up completing their first ever long-distance challenge with confidence.

THE MASAI MASJID
In Kenya, East Africa, hundreds of individuals from the Masai tribe have recently accepted Islam and are seeking to build a life rooted in faith. But they currently have no masjid, no dedicated space for prayer, learning, or coming together as a community.
We’re raising funds to build the Masai Masjid which will be a purpose-built house of worship that will serve this newly formed Muslim community. It will provide a space for daily prayers, Qur’an study, Islamic education, and community programmes.
Your fundraising will directly support the construction of this masjid. Every donation raised through your effort will help build a space of peace, guidance, and belonging.
FUNDRAISING TARGET

GIVING LEVELS
- £25 – Equip the masjid with Qur’ans and prayer mats
- £50 – Support the construction of wudu areas and washrooms
- £100 – Help build classrooms for new Muslims and children
- £250 – Wall of Mercy dedicated to a loved one
- £500 – Contribute to the structural foundations of the masjid
- £1,000 – Become a Founding Supporter of the Masai Masjid (Sadaqah Jariyah)
