Blackstone’s Continued Relief Work on the Ground in Gaza

Throughout June, Blackstone has remained active in Gaza, working with trusted partners to deliver critical aid to families affected by ongoing bombardment, displacement, and widespread shortages. With infrastructure severely damaged and access to essentials cut off across much of the region, the focus has remained on meeting the most urgent needs while continuing to stand in solidarity with those affected.

Cooked Food Distributions

Hot food distributions have been extended across several areas, providing cooked meals to families who are unable to access ingredients or prepare food themselves. With fuel supplies dwindling, kitchens destroyed, and local food markets barely functioning, the need for ready-to-eat meals has only grown. These meals offer immediate relief in settings where survival often depends on whether a family can access even one warm plate a day.

Thanks to your generous support, over 500 people in Gaza received hot, freshly prepared meals, offering comfort, dignity, and much-needed nourishment during these difficult times.

Hygiene Kits for Families

In parallel, Blackstone has expanded its distribution of hygiene kits. In overcrowded shelters and informal camps, where many families are now living, the absence of washing facilities, cleaning products, and basic hygiene items has left communities exposed to the spread of infection. Each kit contains essentials for washing, disinfecting, and maintaining personal and domestic cleanliness, offering families a basic level of protection against disease in conditions that continue to deteriorate.

Over 250 people in Gaza received essential hygiene kits, restoring a sense of cleanliness, dignity, and relief during a time of hardship.

Water Tankers for Clean Drinking Water

Access to clean water remains among the most pressing concerns. With municipal systems either damaged or operating far below capacity, families are now dependent on deliveries from humanitarian water tankers. These tankers are reaching areas where there is no functioning water supply, helping to provide safe drinking water in quantities that are still far below what is needed, but essential nonetheless in reducing the risk of waterborne illness.

Thanks to the installation of water tanks, over 200 people in Gaza now have reliable access to clean and safe drinking water — a vital resource for health and survival.

Baby Food and Formula

Special attention has also been given to infants and newborns, many of whom are facing malnutrition as a result of disrupted feeding routines and a critical shortage of baby formula. With mothers struggling to breastfeed due to stress and undernourishment, and with formula nearly impossible to obtain in most areas, Blackstone has worked to source and distribute emergency supplies of baby food to the families who need it most.

Thanks to your support, over 250 families in Gaza have received life-saving baby milk, providing vulnerable infants with essential nutrition and a lifeline in a time of crisis.
