Event Attendance Policy

Ticket Adherence:

Attendance to our events is strictly by ticket only. Individuals must purchase tickets in advance and adhere to our ticketing policy, which states that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Kit List Compliance:

Attendees are required to adhere to the kit list provided for each event. It is their responsibility to ensure they are fully equipped with the necessary gear and equipment as specified.

Safety Instructions:

By attending our events, participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided by our group leaders without exception. The safety of all participants is paramount, and attendees must comply with the guidance and directions given by our group leaders.

Guide Authority:

Attendees acknowledge that our group leaders are responsible for their safety during the event. They must respect the authority of the guides and comply with any instructions or decisions made by them, including turning back if advised to do so. Failure to follow these instructions will result in removal from the event without a refund and may lead to a permanent ban from future Blackstone Charity events.

Respect and Safeguarding:

Attendees are expected to conduct themselves with respect towards fellow participants, guides, and the natural environment. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated. Additionally, attendees must adhere to our communication guidelines and refrain from abusing our communication systems, including WhatsApp groups.

Non-Tagalong Policy:

Attendees are not permitted to bring friends, family, or other individuals to tag along on our events if they have not purchased a ticket. This policy ensures fairness, safety, and the integrity of our events.

By attending our events, participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this attendance policy. Failure to comply with these terms may result in removal from the event without a refund and may lead to a permanent ban from future Blackstone Charity events.

Blackstone Charity Event Ticket Policy

Introduction:

Thank you for choosing to participate in a Blackstone Charity event. Our events are unique experiences, and we strive to ensure the utmost satisfaction for all participants. To maintain the integrity of our events, please familiarize yourself with our ticket policy, as outlined below.

Non-Refundable Tickets:

Once purchased, tickets for any Blackstone Charity event are non-refundable under any circumstances, except in the event that the hike is cancelled by Blackstone Charity (please see the “Event Cancellation” section for details).

Strictly Non-Transferable Tickets:

Tickets purchased for Blackstone Charity events are non-transferable in every respect. This means:

  • The ticket purchaser must be the participant in the event.
  • Tickets cannot be transferred to another individual.
  • Tickets cannot be credited towards future events.

Identification may be required at the time of the event to confirm that the ticket holder matches the name on the ticket.

Charity Tickets:

For events offering Charity Tickets, participants must meet the minimum fundraising terms set forth by the event organizers by the specified deadlines. Tickets purchased under these terms are only valid if the fundraising targets are met. Failure to meet the fundraising requirements will result in the cancellation of your ticket without a refund.

Event Cancellation:

In the rare case that Blackstone Charity needs to cancel an event, ticket holders will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund will be issued. No other exceptions apply for the issuance of refunds.

Early Notification:

To improve your chances of securing a spot in our popular events, we recommend joining our mailing list. Members of our mailing list will receive early notifications about upcoming events, providing them with an opportunity to book before tickets sell out.

Violation of Policy:

Failure to adhere to this policy, including but not limited to non-compliance with safety instructions, may result in the forfeiture of your ticket, denial of entry to the event, and a permanent ban from future Blackstone Charity events, without a refund.
